The article discusses the concept of spontaneous preschool play, its key characteristics and functions in child development. The psychological and pedagogical approaches to understanding spontaneous play and its differences from organized play activities are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the role of such a game in the formation of a child's cognitive, social and emotional competencies.

The article substantiates the significance of the scientific development of problems of adaptation of young people after completing their sports career. Based on an analysis of trends in the evolution of state support for boys and girls leaving sports and analysis of data from the author’s research, carried out using a questionnaire and interviews, its current state is characterized. This research aimed to investigate the peculiarities of the emotional intelligence of basketball players of different levels of mastery. The study involved 33 average levels of mastery and 33 high levels of mastery sportsmen. The Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale (SEIS) was used in the study. The results of this study revealed that appraisal of higher-level mastery basketball players was statistically significant (p < 05) higher than sportsmen's average level of mastery. But the optimism (p < 05) was higher for the average level of mastery players. No statistically significant differences in overall emotional intelligence estimates were found between average and higher level of mastery basketball players.

The article is devoted to the question of the development of speech of preschoolers, namely the formation of dialogical speech.

The study aimed to find out the differences in athletic identity between young (16–18 years old) basketball players. It was found that many indicators of the athletic identity of young basketball players selected for the national team were higher than those not invited to the national team. For they were highly expressed the negative affectivity.

The authors of this article reveal the issues of development of coherent speech of children of senior preschool age in the conditions of a preschool educational organization. They present the author's experience of working on the speech creativity of children by means of modern educational technologies, describe specific methods, techniques and tools in this area of children's activity. They share the forms of work on enriching the developing subject-spatial environment for activating children's coherent speech and working with parents. Present the results of their work on this issue.

The aim of the study is to reveal the peculiarities of mental toughness among cadet and junior basketball players. To achieve this goal, the MTQ48 questionnaire (Mental Toughness Questionnaire 48) was used as a methodological toolkit. The results showed that cadets have higher scores on the «Reaction to the Challenge» and «Control» scales compared to junior players.

In this article, following the rules of the game is an important indicator of the development of game activities of preschool children, as the plot and role – playing games have the potential for the formation and development of gaming skills. As the study of this article shows, the stability of children in subordination to the game rule during the role-playing game is constantly increasing and between the role and the rule, which dictates a certain role, there are always naturally changing relationships. The article also presents recommendations for teachers of preschool institutions on direct and indirect management of role-playing game.

Авторы статьи отмечают, что современные условия дали толчок к поиску инновационных «не раскрытых», интересных и развивающих методов и технологий в работе с детьми дошкольного возраста, обеспечивающих комфортное пребывание в условиях ДОУ, сохраняющих психическое здоровье каждого ребенка и способствующих развитию творческой интеллектуально развитой личности. Одной из таких технологий стала пескография. Результатом работы явилось повышение творческого потенциала дошкольников. Рисование песком способствовало развитию мелкой моторики, фантазии, творческих способностей, образного мышления.

The article discusses the features of gaming technologies usage in the process of teaching Russian as a foreign language at the initial stage and various positive aspects of gaming technologies usage in the learning process. It is concluded that games contribute to overcoming the psychological barrier that arises in all students studying a foreign language. The article also analyzes the types of games presented in one of the most popular textbooks on Russian as a foreign language – the «Road in Russia» educational complex. In conclusion, it is stated that role-playing games are the kind of games most organically combined with the tasks of teaching Russian as a foreign language.

Femininity is a complex formation. In the sixth year of life, children have already formed an idea of ​​their gender, and children are able to characterize it by certain signs. At the same time, it is quite difficult for children of this age to identify meaningful characteristics, to highlight the qualities that characterize children as representatives of a certain gender. The analysis of the possibilities of the plot-role-playing game as a means of developing femininity is presented.
