«How to raise a patriot in a modern school (from the experience of a history teacher)»
The article discusses the methods of patriotic education of schoolchildren in a modern school. The long-term experience of a history teacher in a rural school is revealed. The author gives examples of fostering patriotism in history lessons based on the study of family history and native land. The important role of conducting design and research activities with students is shown. The importance of extracurricular activities dedicated to the heroic pages of Russian history is revealed. The role of the school museum for the education of the modern generation is emphasized. The role of the students themselves in attracting the interest of the younger generation in the history of the Fatherland is raised. The author emphasizes the important role of the teacher's personality for the education of patriotic feelings of schoolchildren.

The article analyzes the influence of the educational projects of the outstanding teachers of the past J. Dewey and S.T. Shatsky on the modern theory and practice of education, on the development of technology for modern project training, in particular, on the formation of key cognitive and communicative competencies of students of 8-9 grades in the process of implementing the federal state educational standard of basic general education. The author considers the aspect of the formation of these
